Tuesday, September 28th is Leopold Open House. Families are invited to visit their child's classroom between 6:00 – 7:00 pm to get a look around and say HI to staff. Nuestra Casa Abierta será el martes, 28 de septiembre. Las aulas estarán abiertas para visitas durante las 6:00 y las 7:00 PM. Let your child be your guide and show you all the classroom has to offer. Don't forget to stop by the gym, talk to the art teachers, visit with music staff and check out the REACH labs. When you're done with your tour, stop by the Cafeteria from 7:00 – 7:30 for a cool treat. Staff will serve ice cream and popsicles provided by the PFO to top off a fun night at school. This Saturday, October 2nd is the 6th annual Timber Wolf Trample. Espero que todos puedan asistir el sábado, 2 de octubre, de las 11 hasta las 2 para el evento La Carrera Timber Wolf. The early registration deadline is fast approaching. Get your child's pledge form and pledges back to teachers by Wednesday, September 29th to qualify for an early bird prize ticket. It is never too late to register, but early registration makes race day so much easier for everyone. If you have misplaced your registration form, they are available at school or you can download one from the Timber Wolf Trample web site (http://www.timberwolftrample.org/). If you would like to spend some quality time outside at Leopold, here's an opportunity for grounds clean up:

When: After school until we're finished, tired or both
What you need: Trash bags and gloves.
Who: Everyone can help!
Why: Because we love our school, and would like to help to maintain a clean learning environment for everyone.

Families of Leopold School,
You should be aware of an upcoming interruption in emails received by staff.
The Madison School District is making a major change in its email system - moving from one provider to another. As a result, from 5:00 p.m. on Friday October 1 until Monday morning October 4, all school and district staff members will not have access to their received emails. If all things technical go well, staff members will have access on October 4 to all emails sent in that "down" period as well as all subsequent emails.
Two other points:
1. All email addresses for school and district staff members will remain the same.
2. All emails that you send to staff members - no matter when they are sent - will be received.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
