Good Morning Leopold Families! It's almost Friday…yeah! Thank you to everyone who was able to participate in Noodles Night or the Election Day Bake Sale at school on Tuesday. Both were extremely successful thanks to you. We look forward to more opportunities to connect with the community in the future. Speaking of the bake sale…if you are missing a rectangular container lid, contact Lisa Shebesta – she picked it up at the end of the night for safe keeping.
The April Fresh Fruit and Veggie Snack menu is posted on the Leopold Blog. http://leopoldpfo.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-fresh-fruit-and-veggie-snack.html Leopold kids have input in selecting the healthy snacks they receive. Two of their favorites are kiwi and oranges, and that is where families can participate. We could use fruit cutters tomorrow, Friday, April 8th at the beginning of the school day to prepare kiwi for the kids. This starts between 7:45 and 8:15 and lasts for about an hour. If you are available tomorrow, or would like to be contacted in the future to help, please contact Lisa Shebesta (Shebesta@charter.net). Keep an eye on the blog for the May snack menu.
You will also read on the blog about the MyCokeRewards Library makeover contest. The contest runs through April 30th, so if you or someone you know is stockpiling those MyCokeRewards points, now is the time to get them entered. For more information, read the blog post - http://leopoldpfo.blogspot.com/2011/04/help-our-school-win-10k-library.html Thanks!
Have a great Thursday and we'll see you at school!
